How to install the New Shorter Oxford English Dictionary to your hard driveFrom Oxford University Press:These are instructions for configuring the New Shorter Oxford English Dictionary (NSOED) to run without the CD in the drive To achieve this, the datafile will need to be copied to the hard disk and the initialization file will need to be ammended to point the program to the new location of the datafile. Use the steps below as a guide. 1. Copy the file D:\DATA\NEWSOEDS.AND to a folder on your hard disk, e.g. C:\NSOED. 2. Using Notepad, open the file C:\WINDOWS\NEWSOED.INI 3.
